NMCC's Performance

As per its mandate, the NMCC is expected to improve the competitiveness of industry which in turn will push up the growth rate of the manufacturing sector. Improving the competitiveness of the sector requires continuous effort on the part of the Government and the industry. The disabilities that the sector suffers from cannot be surmounted overnight. It is not possible to recount all the actions that have been taken by the NMCC to fulfill its mandate. However, a gist of some of the key initiatives of the NMCC is given hereinafter.
