The NMCC shall advise the Government on industrial and sector specific initiatives that may be required for enhancing competitiveness of industries. It would inter alia include:
(a) Sectoral and enterprise level initiatives;
(b) Innovation and technology development (R&D);
(c) Entrepreneurship promotion;
(d) Infrastructure and enabling facilities;
(e) Trade and fiscal policies; and
(f) Employment generation
